The Vietnam Visa on Arrival (also known as Landing Visa) program was introduced in 2000, offering a convenient way for air travelers to obtain their visas for Vietnam. Instead of going through the traditional embassy or consulate application process, you can apply online for a visa approval letter. This letter allows you to collect your visa upon arrival at one of Vietnam's international airports.
Please note that since the reopening of borders to foreign visitors in March 2022, the government has encouraged travelers to apply online for an Electronic Visa (Evisa). Visa on Arrival (VOA) is now only available to countries that are not eligible for Evisa. To determine if you require VOA or Evisa for Vietnam, please refer to the Vietnam visa requirement page.
Here are the features for Tourist VOA and Business VOA:

Step 1: Obtain an approval letter through travel agencies
If you wish to use our company to obtain approval on your behalf, please email the following documents to support@vietnamvisa24.com for checking and quotation. The required documents vary depending on the visa type:
For Tourist Visa: Passport copy, hotel reservation, flight information, sponsoring tour operator (if applicable), and Vietnam embassy or consulate's address (required only if you prefer to get a visa stamp in advance at the embassy).
For Business Visa: Passport copy, business license of the sponsoring company in Vietnam, VAT report of the most recent 3 months of the sponsor, expected travel date and port of entry, and Vietnam embassy or consulate's address (required only if you prefer to get a visa stamp in advance at the embassy).
Once you agree on the fees, we will send you a payment link for debit/credit card payment. Processing will commence immediately after payment verification. Within 5-9 business days (processing time may vary between countries), the approval letter will be sent to your email.
Step 2: Use the approval letter to pick up the visa on arrival at Vietnam's international airports or get the visa stamped at an assigned Vietnamese embassy in advance.
Upon arrival, present the printed copy of the visa approval letter, and 2 passport-sized photos, fill out an entry-exit form, and pay the stamping fee (USD 25 for single entry visa, USD 50 for multiple entry visa) to collect your visa. The same requirements apply when getting the visa stamped at the embassy or consulate. Please note that in addition to the stamping fee, you will need to pay a service fee to the embassy or consulate.
